Update from the safer neighbourhood teams

An update on the three ward priorities in the area, and community safety issues.

Climate Emergency

Head of Environment Strategy, Jennifer Sibley, to update the Local Committee on the Climate Emergency with a brief presentation followed by a breakout session that will seek the views of local residents.

Public Realm Projects and Neighbourhood Grants pdf icon PDF 105 KB

The Locality Lead Officer, Claire Smith will present examples of Public Realm projects delivered in the borough, following the presentation residents will be given an opportunity to suggest new projects for future consideration. A presentation will be given on the current funding available and grant applications approved under delegated authority since the last meeting of the committee.

Principal Highways Engineer to give an update on highways projects in the ward areas.

Local Committee Review and Engagement Day Feedback

An overview of the feedback received from residents and partners regarding the engagement day that was held at the Circle Library on 9 January 2020 and the new way we are trying to engage with residents.
